Fairy tattoos are usually delicate and frequently have wings, but beyond that they can portray an almost endless range of mood and emotions such as happiness, sorrow, beauty, and naughtiness.

In terms of design, they’re also extremely flexible. For instance, basic fairy tattoos can be combined with a broad range of design features, such as Celtic patterns, butterflies, flowers, or other mythical creatures such as dragons or unicorns. Not only does this increase the chances of getting a unique tattoo design it also adds greater personal meaning and symbolism to the design.

And due to the fact that they make excellent small tattoos they can be placed on just about any part of the body. The lower back, hips and lower abdomen are the most popular places for fairy tattoos, as well as the thigh or ankle.

Because of the elaborate nature of fairy tattoo designs, they take longer to create, and can cost more than other tattoos of a similar size.

Tattoos for girls is no longer taboo.

Gone is the old stereotype that the only girls with tattoos were criminals, lesbians, or prostitutes. Although women from other cultures have been getting tattoos for 100′s of years, only recently have they become popular in the West.

Today the number of girls with tattoos makeup approximately 65% of the tattoo community. Tattoos for girls are now a popular fashion statement, occupying the same category as shoes and handbags. And who are these women? They’re stay at home moms, celebrities, and business women ranging in age from 18 to 40.

This hasn’t always been the case, fifty years ago only 10% of tattoos belonged to girls. Aside from the increase in the number of women who are getting tattooed, the tattoos for girls have undergone a some significant changes.

There are many tattoo designs to choose from, giving people a chance to be creative.  Below, we will take a look at some of the most popular tattoo designs.

Tattoos are a common thing these days.  They are more popular than ever before.  Studies have shown that nearly 1 in 4 people have at least one or more tattoo designs.  Long gone are the old beliefs that tattoos are only for thugs and bikers.

Tribal tattoos are among the most popular tattoo designs.  They have been around for hundreds and hundreds of years and they are always evolving and becoming more and more complex with their designs and styles.  Tribal tattoo designs can either be the traditional black style that cover the arms and the legs or the more colorful styles that can cover every area of the body.  The colorful, more modern tattoo designs are becoming more and more popular when compared to other styles.
